In 1981 we started providing support and accommodation for young people in Croydon who faced homelessness. Over the last 35 years the needs of people we meet have become more varied and more complex. We have learned a great deal by listening to those we have worked with and adapted our services to meet their evolving needs and aspirations. Our services combine support with accommodation to ensure that after a period facing homelessness, young people move on to independence with all the skills they need to make the most of their lives.
CAYSH delivers a housing pathway with varying types of accommodation to meet the needs of young people recently made homeless or those nearing complete independence.
Lodgings services across Bromley, Croydon, Royal Greenwich, Lewisham and Sutton provide a room in a family home and the unique support provided by our Householders.
CAYSH provides support to young people living in accommodation it provides itself and to others living in other accommodation (floating support) - all of it geared to help young people achieve the best possible future for themselves.
CAYSH has developed a unique security service that protects the interests of residents in supported accommodation (not just CAYSH’s). Now a Community Interest Company in its own right, this link to their website opens in a new window.
