We provide safe housing and support in self-contained accommodation for young people in housing crisis.
Working together with housing associations and local authorities we help young people to develop and maximise their independence skills. Every young person we work with has an Advice and Support Officer (ASO) and where desired, follow-up support is provided when the young person moves on.
CAYSH provides well over 150 safe and secure bed spaces in shared and self-contained accommodation for young people with a variety of backgrounds, from those leaving care to youth offenders. What these people have in common is that they can no longer remain in a family home - because they didn't have one in the first place or because it's not safe for them to stay there now.
We help to develop their skills and support them on a range of issues such independent living, money management, benefits and careers advice.
