CAYSH will always be determined to provide high quality services because high quality outcomes are important to the young people we work with.
We appreciate that 'quality' means different things to different audiences. To the young people we work with it means us listening, meeting the promises we make and delivering accommodation and advice of the highest standard available. To our funders and commissioners it means reliability, value for money and careful stewardship. To our partners it means flexibility and shared values.
While we evidence our quality in through our relationships with our service users, funders and commissioners and stakeholders every day, we can also demonstrate it to those who know us less well through recognition:
We are delighted to have started 2016 by being achieving Advice Quality Standard certification - the mark of quality for independent advice organisations for our work down at Drop in Zone.
We were first awarded the Investors in People status in 2003, and have retained this award ever since. As was highlighted by Investors in People, equality and diversity is at the heart of what we do. There are clear action plans in place setting out opportunities for continuous improvement and development. In 2016 CAYSH were re-awarded the Investors in People Silver award.
Crisis PRS Champions
We were delighted in 2013 to be named PRS Champions by Crisis - the national charity for single homeless - in recognition of our work to help people facing homelessness to access the Private Rented Sector. Our CRIAS Light service now operates across 7 south west London Boroughs helping many hundreds of people avoid statutory homelessness each year.
CAYSH is accredited under British Standard BS25999 which, in plain English, means we have thought about and planned for what to do if we were faced with a major interruption to our ability to deliver our services. Hopefully we will never need to put any of the plan in to action, but we have one and we test it from time to time, just in case.
